Saving things

Junk Drawer isn’t in my share sheet

  1. In any app, tap the Share button.
  2. Scroll the row of app icons to the end and tap More.
  3. Find Junk Drawer and turn it on. Tap Edit if you want to move it to the front.

What can I share?

Links, text, screenshots and photos, and places from Apple Maps. For screenshots, the text is read on your phone and only the text is sent. The image never leaves your phone.

It says “Open Junk Drawer and sign in”

Your share is kept safe on your phone. Open the Junk Drawer app and sign in, and it will file itself.

It says “No connection”

Your share is kept on your phone. It will file itself the next time you open Junk Drawer with a connection.

It filed the wrong thing, or couldn’t tell what it was

When Junk Drawer isn’t sure, it leaves a card in your Drawer with its best guesses and a search box. Pick the right one, search for it, or keep it under the name you type. Junk Drawer works things out automatically, so it will sometimes get things wrong.

Reporting content or a person

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. See the community rules.

We review every report within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks the rules and ban the accounts responsible. We don’t tell people who reported them.

Blocking someone

Use Block on a person’s profile or on one of their Fridge posts. Blocking removes any friendship or friend request between you. Neither of you can see the other’s posts or find the other in search. They aren’t told they were blocked. You can unblock people from your list of blocked accounts.

Deleting your account

  1. Open Junk Drawer and go to your account settings.
  2. Tap Delete account and confirm.

This permanently deletes your account and profile, all your saves and shares (including everything on your Fridge), your friendships, your blocks, and the reports you made. If you signed in with Apple, we also cancel Junk Drawer’s Sign in with Apple access. This can’t be undone.

If you can’t get into the app, email tylerakershaw1@gmail.com from the address on your account and we’ll delete it for you. You can also stop using Sign in with Apple for Junk Drawer from your iPhone’s Settings, under your Apple Account’s Sign in with Apple list. That doesn’t delete your Junk Drawer data, though, so use Delete account for that.

Privacy questions and data requests

To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete a particular share, email tylerakershaw1@gmail.com. The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and who receives it.

Age

Junk Drawer is not for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 is using it, email us and we’ll delete the account.
